The Apple is a miracle fruit. It is a source of health and longevity.

The French advise: “Always stick to eating an apple in the morning for health and beauty in the evening.”
The English do believe that an apple a day keeps the doctor away.
Apples contain very few calories and are full of  vitamins. One apple has between 70 and 100 calories and provides us with one-fifth of our necessary daily dose of vitamin C. It also contains carotene, vitamins B1, B2, B6, potassium, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. Iron positively affects the nervous system and improves memory, potassium is responsible for the proper functioning of the heart and the blood vessels, whereas magnesium improves metabolism, relieves stress and strengthens the bones. Organic acids help solving weight problems.

Apples are suitable for conducting a diet as the pectin in them is likely to swell during digestion and gives a feeling that we are already full. Frequent intake of apples reduces the amount of fats in the body. Apple’s Pectin is very beneficial for the liver, the gallbladder, the kidneys and the regulation of the gastrointestinal tract. Moreover, apples are great for treating acute and chronic colitis, gastro-intestinal disorders,etc. Apples contain many phenols, which reduce “bad” and raise “good” cholesterol. According to U.S. scientists in apples and apple juice (freshly squeezed) there are substances that protect us from brain damage leading to Alzheimer’s disease.
Apples help our bodies reduce blood pressure, and flavonoids (antioxidants) make the skin soft and smooth. Some experts even recommend that once a month we should just have apple days to purify the body. Others say the fruit is a natural toothbrush as it cleans the enamel and is helpful for the gums. Apple juice in the morning on an empty stomach will charge you with energy for work, while its consumption in the evening will remove fatigue. If we make facial masks with apple juice, the skin of the face will look fresh, smooth, shining and soft.
