Why Should We Say No to Fast Food

When it comes to eating healthy, one of the most dangerous habits people develop is depending on fast food for meals.  In today’s society, fast food has become a quick replacement for eating a home-cooked meal.As a result, we’re experiencing more problems with obesity and chronic illness than ever before.  Heart disease, stroke, and diabetes have become some of the most serious problems we face as a society. This is the first generation in many that our life expectancy is actually decreasing.Americans flock to fast food like bees to honey, due to our fast-paced world and 20-hour workdays. However, as the obesity epidemic climbs to an overwhelming number, it might be time for us to back off the Mickey D's. If you need convincing, check out these below reasons you shouldn't be eating it.

Harmful effects of Fast Food

  • Cholestrol
First of all fast-food means Cholesterol. Cholesterol means one step ahead towards heart failure. It clogs the arteries due to which they become unable to send blood to heart and it results in heart failure.
  • High Blood Presure
Another bad thing is High Blood Pressure. It is also dangerous for heart and it also effects brain.
  • Obestity
Eating too much fast food leads to Obesity. It means discomfort. It causes Hypertension and make person short tempered.
  • High fat, low nutritional value
This one's a no-brainer, clearly. The food is loaded with preservatives, the preferred cooking method is deep fried and even the "healthy" options aren't all that good for you. In fact, the McDonald's crispy chicken salad has more than 18 grams of fat. Add the dressing and you're at 36 grams. Many of the desserts contain fake sweeteners, which have been linked to obesity. Plus, the chicken, which is one of the leanest cuts of protein you can have, is breaded and deep fried, which takes away almost all of the redeeming qualities it had going for it, not to mention gets rid of its health benefits.
  • Food safety
Sad to say, many of the employees hired on to do the cooking, food handling and prep don't have the necessary training or food safety education they need to do it right. Not their fault, the companies often don't offer training because these restaurants have such a high turnover rate. On any given day, you could have someone preparing your hambuger who didn't wash their hands or was playing with frozen raw meat right before they manhandled your bun. Save yourself the food poisoning.

Food is basic need of all the living beings. Food is taken so that we may live and get energy to work. In earlier days, mother-cooked food was the best food but as the time is changing, the home made food is losing its importance in daily life and is replaced by Fast or Junk Food.So at the end of the day fast-food means unhealthy person, unhealthy lifestyle and an overall unhealthy body. So if you care about the health then SAY NO TO FAST FOOD and prefer home made food and live a long healthy happy life without tension. Health is one of the most important aspects of life which needs proper care and proper attention to live a happy life. When you say no to fast food and yes to a healthy diet, you’re choosing a life that’s free from many of the health problems associated with a diet high in calories, fat, and sodium. Eating healthy when you’re busy can be a challenge, but developing new habits will help you to succeed!
